Figyeld amott az utca színpadát:
a nő letette kisfiát, s rohan
szökött kakas nyomán, a szárnyasát
nyakon ragadni, zárni biztosan.
A sarja egyre sír, s mögötte jár,
a karba mászna, kéri rejtekét, …
A csalfaságod egy napon, ma már
javam, s szivem ha dúlt, nyelem szavát.
Alázkodom, bevallom én - habár
acél valék, ma nem leszek galád.
S ha úgy zilált ma fel gyalázatom,
miként tiéd a'nap, pokol-megélt, …
Ha nem titok, mi fél-titok: hazudj,
csalárd a szív, de hófehér a szó -
ne is reméld, bedőlök én, nem úgy! -
naiv gyereknek (azt hiszed) való.
De ifjunak ha vélsz, e jó fiú -
s te jól tudod, mi fél-titok: korom - …
Igaz szivek, ha áldja nász: ne légy
a gáncs; Szerelmet ím nevezd nevén:
nem oly, mi, vágy ha változik, felég,
vagy elhajolna csábitó hevén.
Nem! Ő szilárd; az égre írva állja
vihart, ha óvja rendületlenül …
kacsint a kengurú, ölembe bújt
az őszelő csitít el új l'amour-t
napóra kattogás az éjbe fúlt
zsebébe vág idő, s maradsz a múlt
be zöld e Föld, fehérje lesz fakó
sok éhezőt teremt a földlakó …
te édes alma vagy. tebenned én
kukac, ki fél, ma nem harapsz-e félbe.
boszorka mérge sem seper szemétbe?
heved se süt meg életem delén?
fagyod se öljön ám a zord telén!
s a permeted se rúg talán fenékbe. …
